In loving memory of our incredible mother, Koulla, who passed away peacefully at home on 6th December 2024. She was a vibrant, loving wife, mother, grandmother, sister, aunt and friend. Koulla was the heart and soul of our family, her love, generosity and spirit touched everyone around her. For years, she lived her life with incredible strength and energy; working tirelessly and always putting others before herself. Koulla dedicated her life to her family, especially her beloved grandchildren. She would welcome anybody into her home with a smile and open arms and a plate of food. Her warm and bubbly character epitomised by her giggly laugh would always lift the spirits of those around her.   

Koulla was diagnosed with Motor Neurone Disease (MND), a cruel and progressive condition that gradually took away her ability to walk, speak and care for herself.  Despite the overwhelming challenges that MND brought, she continued to show incredible strength and courage, never allowing the disease to strip her beautiful smile.  Throughout her journey, she received compassionate care and support that allowed her to stay in the comfort of her own home, near to her loved ones.
